As we come to the end of January I’m feeling relieved…it’s my least favourite month and it always seems to drag. Now spring is in sight and it’s staying lighter for longer. I do hope we’ll see more colourful fashion in the shops because the last few times I’ve been to Zara and the like it’s been a sea of grey, black and white. I can scan a shop in 10 seconds and decide it’s not worth staying any longer if I can’t see any colour.
Not that I shop in store much these days – even charity shops have been a waste of time recently. I popped into one of my local ones and saw a Primark shirt with the original tag on priced at £1…the charity shop’s price was £4! Not that that’s expensive, but it’s the principle. There’s also a lot of overstock from cheap fast fashion brands. Many charity shop TikTok influencers have been bemoaning the crazy prices. Vinted is where you find the best bargains!
This purple sparkly frill jumper was a bargain at £10
Anyway, I digress. This purple sparkly frill jumper was a bargain at £10. Dancing Leopard have had a few £10 clearance sales recently and this was included in the last one. I bought a fabulous striped cardigan in a previous sale which I’ll feature soon. I sized down to a small in this jumper because it looked quite loose on the model on the website, and it fits perfectly. I’ve paired it with lilac trousers for a tonal look and added contrasting orange accessories. The boots were a Vinted bargain at only £4! I don’t know what brand they are but they’re really comfortable. I’m trying not to buy anything new for a while as I really need to get rid of some stuff. At some point soon I’m going to have to tackle the cases in the loft…I’m not looking forward to that!
