After a wet and grey Christmas Day spent indoors, we were in need of some fresh air and exercise. I wore this orange and green outfit for a Boxing Day walk with Pete and his mum. (Isobel wasn’t interested, preferring to stay at home and play her bass guitar…typical teenager!) It was quite muddy in places but I wanted to wear a colourful outfit rather than my walking boots and jeans. I’ve worn these orange trousers on the blog before with leopard print, tiger print, a pink raincoat and a blue jumper and jacket. They have turned out to be much more versatile than I imagined!
To break up the orange and green outfit I added my new rainbow striped gloves
I’ve also featured this green coat with red accessories almost three years ago. I liked that colour combination but I prefer it paired with orange. It was a chilly day so I layered a knitted vest over a green and white roll neck top. They are not by the same brand but they do match rather well. To break up the orange and green outfit I added my new rainbow striped gloves. I saw them in TKMaxx and couldn’t resist treating myself. They’re a longer length than my other gloves so they keep my wrists warm. The acrylic seahorse earrings add a fun touch to the outfit. I’m in Cambridgeshire for a few days visiting my mum who’s still in hospital, but I’m heading back to Cheshire for NYE. We’ve been invited to our friends’ place for a little party – the kids are going to entertain us with their band!
How are you spending Twixmas? Do you have plans for New Year’s Eve?
