My feet have barely touched the ground this week! So much going on and too many things to do. Time seems to speed up when there’s a deadline looming (like getting ready to go away) and before I know it I’m in a tailspin racing here there and everywhere. Mum is still in hospital and we have no idea when she’ll be able to come home. With the end of Isobel’s exams and prom last week, everything has come at once. I’m definitely ready to lie on a sun lounger and do very little!

I wore this outfit to work today; it’s one of my go-to combinations of a trouser suit and trainers. I had no time to think about what to wear this morning, and that’s why it’s so useful to have outfits that are easy to put together. I’ve had this green checked trouser suit for probably a couple of years now and it’s one I wear on repeat for work. The green contrasts well with burgundy and plum tones. I’ve worn it before with a patterned top and burgundy bag and hat. I’ve kept things more simple this time, sticking with just the two main colours.
