I’m back in my trainers again! My foot is still really sore and swollen but at least the ugly foam sandal is in the bin. I spent an hour exfoliating my foot this morning and it still looks hideous. When the dressing came off it looked like it belonged to an ancient Egyptian mummy. Or something you’d see poking out of a shallow grave in a murder mystery. Good job I’ve got several tubes of Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour cream. When it’s looking less disgusting I’ll treat myself to a pedicure.

Dopamine dressing in my orange sequin parrot sweatshirt

I’ve been eager to feature this orange sequin parrot sweatshirt that Isobel bought me for Christmas. It’s from Love Your Look Clothing, an independent brand that I’ve been a fan of for some years. It was founded by a lovely lady called Ronke, who I’ve met a couple of times. I caught up with her a few months ago at the Good Clothes Show in Manchester and saw this sweatshirt on her stall. It wasn’t available in my size or I’d have bought it there. But it was in stock online, so when Isobel asked me what I wanted for Christmas I had the answer! It’s so soft and comfortable, I may buy it in another colour.

Luckily, these bright orange trainers match the sweatshirt and are stretchy enough for me to squeeze my hoof into.
