Silky Green Pyjamas + Style With a Smile Link Up

I had planned to include these photos of my fabulous new silky green pyjamas in last week’s post, but then I thought they deserved a post of their own! Confession time: I have been sleeping in some old raggy pyjama bottoms and a T-shirt for ages now and I seriously needed an upgrade! These are just the ticket…plus, I think I might even wear the shirt as daywear. It looks great knotted at the front – I can imagine it with jeans or slouchy trousers. I also have my eye on a long satin dressing gown to go with these silky pyjamas. (I may have to drop birthday present hints!)

Supporting Ukraine

One of the reasons I’m so happy to support IDENTITY LINGERIE (apart from the beautiful designs) is that the founders are from Ukraine. Igor and Diana were inspired by watching their mothers sew together beautiful garments throughout their childhood. Today, their team has grown to nine people, with operations both in the UK and Ukraine. Igor’s mother oversees logistics and quality control from the company’s current location in Lincolnshire.

All of the garments are ethically handcrafted in line with labour laws and undergo a thorough three-point quality check. The team donate old stock fabric and leftovers to Ukrainian charities which produce linens and undergarments to be used in hospitals for the wounded, as well as military camouflage nets. My heart breaks for the people of Ukraine, they have endured so much already and the terrible war shows no sign of ending. I have been learning some Ukrainian on Duolingo over the last couple of years, along with French, Italian and Portuguese. Getting my head around the alphabet is challenging but I’m convinced it’s good for mental agility!

Do take a look at the IDENTITY LINGERIE website and support them if you can. The infinity multiway dresses are stunning!
