Leopard Print and Pink + Style With a Smile Link Up

How’s your week going so far? I’ve been catching up with jobs around the house after being away most of last week…all the boring stuff: washing, putting stuff away, taxing the car. At the moment we have no trips booked and I could really do with something to look forward to. Isobel is going on a skiing trip with the school in a couple of weeks so in theory we could go away. But I think I’ll probably split my time between jobs at home and going to mum’s.

On Sunday I happened to be working with Pete again, so after not seeing him for five days I turned up to work with my camera, ready to grab some photos straight after the programme! I bought these pink trousers in the Marks & Spencer sale for £13 along with some chunky boots (which I’ll wear in another post). I was a bit worried about getting them dirty as it was quite wet on the ground. This pale pink is lovely for spring but maybe not that practical for winter!

I’ve paired it with many different colours before but I decided to try leopard print and pink on this occasion

As I didn’t have a lot of time to think about my outfit that morning I went for the easy option: leopard print. I’ve paired it with many different colours before but I decided to try leopard print and pink on this occasion. Well, leopard print is a neutral, after all! I wear this leopard print top a lot, but I hadn’t worn this faux fur jacket for ages. I actually have three faux fur leopard coats; two, including this one, are second hand. Metallics are also neutrals, so I chose my gold trainers and matching crossbody bag with a pink striped strap. I had to take a larger bag for my water bottle, reusable cup and makeup bag but that was not photo-worthy though! A large gold bag is on my list of things to buy!
