It was only three weeks ago that I wore these green trousers with my green shaggy coat but here they are again! They are among my favourites and they go with so many other items in my wardrobe. This green flower pattern jumper is a fairly recent purchase; I bought it from TK Maxx at the same time as my furry striped bag. The slightly cropped style sits just right with the high waisted trousers and the green is a pretty good shade match.

I took my cue from the green and white in the jumper’s pattern when choosing my bag and jewellery. Rather than a plain black bag I opted for this one with polka dots. To make it stand out even more I swapped the plain strap for this striped one with gold bees on. My ring is a souvenir from Cape Verde years ago and I bought the chunky bangle in a charity shop. I’ve had the ivory studded boots for several years but had never worn them before – they still had the price tag on! I don’t know why I’d left them on the shelf unworn for so long because they’re actually quite comfortable. I wear trainers a lot of the time so it’s good to swap them for boots sometimes. It’s too easy to get stuck in a style rut!
I’m back at my mum’s for a few days and then on Saturday I’m going to Birmingham for @LuinLuLand‘s Self-Love Sanctuary…I can’t wait! I’ll be posting on IG stories throughout the day!
