Flowers and Pastel Shades + Style With a Smile Link Up

I hope you all had a lovely Easter! Apart from working yesterday I didn’t do much. Although the weather has been unsettled I wanted to put together an outfit that encapsulates spring. The starting point was this cute smiley face faux fur bag that I found on Vinted. Someone I follow (Faye @charity_shop_gal) has one very similar that she also bought on Vinted and I loved how she styled it. Needless to say I was influenced…but in a sustainable way! This bag was only £3, plus postage. Bizarrely, the seller said it had some dirty marks on it but it looked fine to me…bonus!

Pale pink trousers and Converse trainers completed this confection of flowers and pastel shades

The yellow faux fur reminds me of Easter chicks, which led me to look for something else yellow to compliment it. After a quick search, I found this floral print blouse with yellow in it and decided to layer a knitted vest over it, doubling up on the flowers with the embroidery. Pale pink trousers and Converse trainers completed this confection of flowers and pastel shades. I love how this smiley face bag prompted me to create this happy outfit; not only was I pleased with how it turned out, but I felt really comfortable in it too. And an outfit that you feel good in is certainly something to smile about…don’t you agree?

What did you do over Easter? Did you have any chocolate eggs?
